Trees and Turf is a fertilization treatment, not an insecticide. We recommend you spray insecticide under severe bark beetle infestation. We recommend Onyx Insecticide as it has a high insect mortality, a good residual effect (six or more months) and additionally, a very low toxicity to humans.

Our Basic Steps for Action:
• Spray key trees and trap areas for Bark Beetle. This spray will kill beetles in the tree and prevent future attack for up to six months.
• Set up and monitor Beetle traps daily.
• Fertilize weak trees with Emerald Tree.
• Remove dead trees (if recently killed).

Insecticide Spray: Most golf courses do NOT have equipment capable of reaching the crown of a mature tree. We will rent you the needed equipment.
